Things I learned today
I. I learned that there are levels of MMA fighting for children. For whatever reason, Tiktok felt I would enjoy watching a little girl who looks to be about three apples tall and maybe seven years old named Lovely Lucy, make several boys much bigger than her question their life choices shortly after entering the ring to fight. I felt like I should cashapp my lunch money to her.
You go, Lucy!
II. I found a shirt with me in mind:

III. My wife's family is Italian and Polish. Today I learned that many of my Italian in-laws serve the salad last, like it's dessert. What madness is this?
IV. I also learned that my favourite sister-in-law has never had homemade cream cheese. She will also get baguettes.
V. I learned that still have an inner nerd. I ordered a copy of the Star Trek Tarot.
I put this post away for a few days because life happened. It is actually the 11th of April but the time stamp says the 6th.
VI. Yesterday, The star Trek Tarot arrived. My inner nerd is very much torqued because the creators placed the Romulans as the Suit of Wands and called it ...Cloaks? Romulans are not Wand people. If anything, they are Sword people.
The Swords are styled after the Klingons and called Batlefs. The Klingons should be the Wand people. Did the deck creators ever watch any episodes from any of the Star Treks?
The Ferengi are the Suit of Pentacles, called Latinum. This makes complete sense.
The Suit of Cups is Starships. Really? The Cups people are Federation members. I don't know about these minor cards.
Mr. Data was The Fool. Riker is The Emperor. Troi is the High Priestess. I can get on board with the Major Arcana but those minor cards just make me shake my head.
VII. I'm doing readings at The Alchemist today. So far it is dead, but clients seem to come in looking for readings in late afternoon.
VIII. The neighbours invited us for dinner today. My SiL invited us for dinner tomorrow. I like this not cooking on the weekends!
IX. I'm still loving it here. I'm thinking about moving my old sock blog to bearblog. Hopefully I can install Adsense in the footer or header.
X. While it's been quiet here in the shop, I wrote three articles for Patreon in May. Go me!
